Practice Runs Begin This Week! - Sign the Petition to Stop the Omak Suicide Race
If you haven't already signed the petition to stop the Omak Suicide Race, please do so now. With only eight days remaining until the race, and new support from the ASPCA and American Humane Association, we still have time to gather the approximately 1,700 signatures left to meet our goal of 5,000 signatures of protest. These signatures will be delivered to Washington Governor Christine Gregoire asking her to take action against the senseless cruelty. If you haven't already, please sign it now then pass along to the animal lovers in your life!

Show Your Support for all Animals by Supporting "Rebels With a Cause"!
This year's PAWSwalk will be Saturday, September 10th, 2005, at Sand Point Magnuson Park in Seattle. PAWSwalk benefits all of the animals that PAWS cares for: nearly 10,000 animals each year!

The PAWS Development and Community Relations team has once again joined together as "Rebels With a Cause" to raise money at this year's event. Last year, "Rebels With a Cause" raised more than $3,135 for the animals, and we would love to surpass that total this year. If you would like to make a pledge to support our team, please click here.

Or, form your own team and join us at Magnuson Park on September 10 - online registration is quick and easy using the event website www.pawswalk.net. Thank you for everything you do for the animals!
