PAWS Takes in Dogs from Kennewick Puppy Mill

More than 370 dogs, all American Eskimo dogs or mixes, were rescued from deplorable conditions at a suspected puppy mill in Benton County, just outside Kennewick. PAWS took in 34 dogs from the group. These dogs are finally receiving the love and care they deserve from our medical team, staff and volunteers, and will be able to go to permanent, caring homes soon.

Watch the story of the dogs' arrival at PAWS on KOMO TV.

Adoption Info
Several of the dogs and puppies are now available for adoption, after spending time in foster care, receiving medical care and grooming, vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries. If you are interested in adopting a dog who will most certainly have special needs, first read more about the reality of providing a home for a dog rescued from a puppy mill.

Interested parties can download a Dog Adopter Survey from our Adoption Process page to complete and either bring it into PAWS' shelter in Lynnwood or fax it to 425.742.5711, attention to puppy mill adoptions. This will not guarantee an adoption hold on a puppy mill dog, but will begin the adoption process detailed on the Adoption Process page.

New Beginnings
Here are some of the dogs and puppies going to their new loving homes. What a great day! Thank you to these kind families who have given these pups a second chance, and to everyone who gives a home to a homeless animal.
