98.9 KWJZ Pet of the Week

PAWS is proud to partner with 98.9 KWJZ Pet of the Week to present this animal. 98.9 KWJZ features a dog and a cat every week on the air, and was our first partner helping to get these animals adopted!

Dawn

Dawn is a wonderful 10 year old cat who is a little shy but she warms up to you very fast with just a few gentle pets and loving words. She is a rather large cat and at her age she is more interested in taking life easy instead of racing around and going crazy for cat toys. If you like big lovable cats, here is your kitty. She is waiting patiently for you to come in and visit her. Her regular adoption fee is $90. However she is also eligible for our Seniors for Seniors program, which allows qualified senior citizens to adopt older animals for the reduced adoption fee of $35.

Babe

This beautiful face belongs to Babe....a suitable name for this gorgeously wonderful and gentle girl. She is a 9 year old Husky/Lab mix with a keen mind, affectionate heart, and lovable-Lab energy. A recent surrender to PAWS, we know that Babe is great with other dogs, she is good with kids, she loves to play fetch, and she has wonderful leash manners. Babe has an easy-going way about her that is simple to fall in love with. This sweet girl is looking for a safe, forever home where she can enjoy being a playful, confident, and much-loved part of the family. The adoption fee for beautiful Babe is $100. However she is also eligible for our Seniors for Seniors program, which allows qualified senior citizens to adopt older animals for the reduced adoption fee of $35.
