9th Annual Paddle for PAWS
Dedication and love for animals are just two of many traits Bob Donovan and Paul Zimmerman share. For the past eight years, these friends have enjoyed working together to raise money for PAWS and awareness of animal welfare issues. And, they will continue with their unique work this year on Sunday, June 29, as Bob and Paul once again swim from Vashon Island to West Seattle, with a goal of raising $10,000 for PAWS.
The brave pair invite their friends and PAWS supporters alike to a picnic in Lincoln Park to celebrate their successful crossing of Puget Sound and this year is no different. Bring your dog and your binoculars to the shore and watch Bob and Paul complete their swim at approximately 3:00. Experienced boaters and kayakers are welcome to join the duo for the day, but please contact us in advance for details on launch and landing sites.
"We really believe in what PAWS does," says Bob. "They help save the lives of thousands of animals every year, needing tremendous resources to do so."
Help Bob and Paul meet their goal of raising $10,000 for the animals by making a gift today!
