Poem for Cami

A unique gem in the sea,
I am so grateful God brought you to me.
My sunshine every day of the year,
my rock, my best friend, that's you, my dear!
So many memories of good times shared,
I never knew how much I could care.
Because of you, I worked at PAWS,
helping thousands of animals, all for a good cause.
Your warmth, your smell, the softness of your breath,
your purrs, your meows, watching you at rest.
I thank you for every moment we had,
you stood by me in good times and bad.
My faithful companion always by my side,
I will miss you dearly, you've been my joy, my pride.
Forever a part of me, always in my heart,
it is so difficult for us to part.
But now, my Sweetness, it's time to rest,
in God's good care, you'll receive the best.
