PAWS: Animal Tales

In memory of Duchess - 2004

You were my little soccer playing dog. I don't know if you remember, but we found you in the woods with your littermates, and you were the runt. I loved you as soon as I saw you, and you had a great, long life. But it was time. I know you wanted to stick around some more, but we saw that you were hurting. You couldn't hide it from us anymore, but you did a darn good job of it for a while. I love you puppy dog, and I'm sorry. You can play soccer as much as you want now. It's okay to chew the couch if you want. It's been a great 15 years with you. Good-bye for now, I'll see you later. And be nice to Atticus.
