PAWS: Animal Tales

Gabby - December 2008

Dear PAWS,

We are the humans for Gabby (formerly Holly). She is on your home page with the big smile.

She's an older dog. I understand her previous humans couldn't keep her due to illness. Plus she had some health problems that we've conquered nicely.

Now she lives with us and Emmutt, another lab mix (male). But she rules the roost. Now she has someone her size to play tug-of-war with (see photo). She's not interested in retrieving the tennis ball, only stealing it. When we take a walk, they walk together like a team of horses.

I'll be making regular donations because I know what a wonderful dog can mean to a human. I recommend older dogs highly. Thank you for bringing us together.
