Lionel

Lionel arrived at the PAWS shelter with a broken leg when he was about eight weeks old. A couple of teenagers brought him in claiming he had fallen out of a car. As soon as I saw Lionel with his little leg splint, I knew I had to foster him and nurture him back to good health. Given my husband's severe cat allergies, Lionel was a perfect foster cat candidate for us because of his need to remain confined in one room. But even confinement and a broken leg couldn't slow down Lionel! He has a lot of spirit and character! We fostered Lionel for close to six weeks, at which point his leg was fully recovered and he was ready for adoption. Lionel was placed at Cat City and adopted within a week. It was a wonderful and enriching experience to spend that time with him, and prepare him for his permanent adopted family! I was sad to say goodbye, but am happy to hear that he has a grand time frolicking in his new home that he shares with another kitty cat!
