Morningstar

Picture of Morningstar
Morningstar's most remarkable feature is most certainly the astonishing almond eyes that capture your heart in their unrelenting gaze. And one twirl of the long fluffy tale is sure to charm even the most cynical.

Morningstar's favorite toys are interactive ones that engage her abilities. For instance, she admires her "fishing paraphernalia" which includes a fishing pole with a pre-attached fish dangling from the end of a long casting line. Another is a fishing pole with a feathered bird that squeaks. Between these two items she sometimes spends hours pawing and maneuvering as if she really were out on the banks of a river waiting to get a nibble. Perhaps it is owing to her Norwegian Forest ancestral breed that she enjoys such an adventuresome lifestyle! She also likes to play with balls, paper bags and shoe laces. And my Morningstar has her own version of "playing house" in the home-styled cat condo that boasts two story levels. However, when it comes to quiet time you will find her peering out my living room window at chirping birds in the morning hours, which is slowly becoming her favorite part of the house to escape the daily grind. Amidst it all Morningstar still manages to spend quality time with me at the end of the day as we snuggle together on the couch, her in my lap, watching some of our favorite prime-time television programs. "Ain't life grand?!"
