Shackleton

We adopted a "problem dog" from you folks 4 years ago, and we just wanted you to know he's not a problem dog anymore... he's a delightful and sweet member of our family...

I think his name at Lynnwood was "Billy", sometimes "Billy-boo-boo". We've renamed him Shackleton, to reflect upon the 18 months he spent up there not getting adopted, but not getting down about it. He had a bright neon orange poster saying he could only leave with "committed, experienced dog owners" who would not bring him back - he had been adopted twice, and brought back both times because he was unmanageable. I wish you could see him now - a huggy sweety pie who's great with puppies, small dogs, and kids. (He's still a bully around other big dogs, though.)

He was very popular up there (as the problem children often are) and I think some people will remember him and be very happy to know how great he turned out. Thanks so much and keep up the hard work.
