In memory of Taylor
Taylor had a depth to his personality that was human-like. He either smiled for photos or stood regally like the king he was. He grumbled like an old man when he disliked something going on around him. He embodied pure loyalty and friendship for Stacie and Gregg, and there was no doubt about how deeply he loved them. He never seemed to grow old, he always had the energy of a younger dog. The last time I saw him he ran tirelessly along the beach at the ocean with a 4 month old puppy - I swear you could actually see Taylor teaching the puppy, coaxing him along the beach, but not letting him get too far away. He was an affectionate, gentle boy who will be missed by so many. -Theresa

Stacie and Gregg, I want to express my sympathies on the loss of Taylor. I never met Taylor, but I heard so many great stories about him, that I feel like I knew him. What I do know for sure is how loved he was by both of you and how much joy he brought to your lives. All dogs are amazing ( I have two crazy labs) and I know that Taylor is for sure one of the great dogs of all time! -With sympathy, Margaret
Stacie & Gregg - Nothing can replace the joy Taylor brought to your lives. Thank you for sharing him with us. We will never forget him…Halloween dress-up, "woof, woof" go home so I can sleep, "cook…" Cherish these memories and build on tomorrow with Taylor's spirit as your beacon. You both can find peace knowing that Taylor was one loved guy! "Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely." -Tom, Kimberly & Lauren
Gregg & Stacie, sorry for your loss, I know how much Taylor meant to you both and I am thinking of you during this time. -Gillian
My husband, Fabio, and I were lucky enough to meet "Mister" last year while in Seattle. We met Stacie and Gregg for a little while at a local place and Taylor came too. He waited in the car, which was one of his favorite places, while we visited. Prior to meeting them, Stacie was giving me directions and you could hear Taylor panting and cheering in the background b/c he was going out for the evening! We went outside and Gregg opened the truck and Taylor came bounding out.... tail wagging 1000 times a minute. He went to me, then to my husband, then to me, etc. He wasn't sure who he wanted to talk to first! We stood outside for a bit just talking to and about "Mister" and telling him what a great dog he was. We gave him some treats and he showed his gratitude by giving us kisses :-) Since we have a dog at home as well, Stacie and I would always trade our "kid" stories whenever something came up. Taylor was such an incredible dog and companion that Stacie always had something interesting to tell me. My heart goes out to Stacie and Gregg right now. Taylor was one of those "best" dogs and he will be missed greatly by everyone that got a chance to be part of his life. God Bless you, Mister, Stacie and Gregg. -Courtney Wilding, CIS

Gregg & Stacie, I will miss Taylor very much. He was one of the first big dogs I met and was a special friend to me (and my family). I will think of him often and remember is amazing wardrobe - good friends are remembered always. -xoxo, Percy (Dawn & Eric too)
Stacie - I know there are no words to help you right now, but know that a real friend like Taylor can never be replaced, only remembered. I am sorry that I never got to meet Taylor, but always enjoyed the pictures and stories. -Love, Kate Christiansen
I'll remember Taylor's playful attitude and stories of his mischief. He always got into trouble when his parents weren't around! He sure made life interesting. I looked forward to Stacie's daily stories. -Sara

Stacie and Gregg, my heart goes out to you during this time. I believe you will find a way to love another and be re-awakened. "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." (Anatole France) -Melissa Garden
Jesaka and I send you our deepest sympathies in this difficult time. Although Bella & Luna aren't big fans of canines, they too send their love and warm thoughts. -Kristi Felts & Jesaka Long

I'll never forget the day I meet Taylor. He was so eager to "play" with the squirrels at Green Lake. I'll always remember Taylor with such high energy and model behavior. =) Stacie & Gregg, thanks for sharing all the wonderful stories. His spirit will continue to live on! -Janet E. Lee
I like to consider myself as Taylor's babysitter. I've been lucky enough to watch him for Stacie & Gregg a number of times. I remember the first time I met Taylor, he came running to the door excited to see his mom & dad but alas, it was just me at the door. The look on his face was one of huge disappointment. After much reassurance to him that we were going to have so much fun & that I'd let him stay up late if he wanted, his disappointment turned to one of enjoyment! One of my favorite things would be to take him on walks & he was sooooooooooooooooooooooo much smarter than I first gave him credit for! As I'd tell him that we were going for a walk, of course he'd be so excited…I'd put the leash on & he'd grab one of his MANY toys in his mouth & we'd start the walk. Well, Taylor would carry the toy for about the first 10 minutes or so & then he'd get tired of carrying it & consequently drop it. I'd pick it up & carry it the rest of the way. After about the 3rd day of Taylor doing this, I FINALLY caught on! Taylor so knew that he'd get me to carry his toys for him! Such a smart little cookie! Stacie & Gregg, please know that you are both in my prayers. -Teresa
You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. -Kristan
