Volunteering Opportunities at PAWS
Wildlife Work Party Team
Position Description: PAWS people know how to party! In order to provide the best care and environment to successfully rehabilitate wild animals and return them to the wild, we are constantly improving and upgrading the enclosures and facilities on our campus. There are several ongoing projects with which we currently need help: constructing new outdoor raccoon cages, building a new footpath between our outdoor enclosures, and assembling new seabird pools specifically designed to rehabilitate animals rescued from Washington oil spills.
Each Wildlife Work Party will focus on the specific stage we are at in one of these projects, and will involve learning new skills such as building retaining walls, pouring concrete, structural assembly, trail building, carpentry, landscaping, plumbing, etc. Each party will give animal lovers a chance to work together to improve the lives of wild animals.
By signing up to join the Wildlife Work Party Team, you will be invited to all upcoming work parties.
