The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), formed in 1996 by eight U.S. animal protection groups, has taken the guesswork out of shopping for cruelty-free products. The "leaping bunny" logo on a product indicates that it was manufactured in accordance with standardized animal-friendly practices.
