Nala

Wiggling into our hearts.

As empty-nesters, when we had to put our aging lab down last Christmas, we were aiming to adopt an older dog but as luck would have it, the moment we met Nala at paws, those plans went sideways. Now we have a 7-month-old lovely pup who has wiggled her way into our lives and into our hearts.

We renamed her Nala (from the production/movie Lion King) not only because of her tawny-colored coat but the way she pounces on toys and balls is so Lion like. She makes a flying leap just like a cat. Our veggie garden is doing well now that Nala is on squirrel and rabbit patrol. Despite her growing size, she likes to curl up on our lap when we sit on the floor.

Life is good with Nala!
