PAWS frequently has and puppies and kittens available for adoption. They tend to get adopted quickly, however our listings for Available Dogs and Available Cats are updated in real-time.
Puppies
There is no particular peak season for puppies although there may be a slight increase in their availability during the spring and summer. Just like kittens, puppies come in many ages, sizes, and breeds or mixes.
Since they eventually grow up into active and beautiful adult dogs, PAWS would like to help you select the right one for your home. Please read the fact sheets about puppies in our Resource Library.
Kittens
Kittens are available for adoption most often during “kitten season,” which typically runs from July through December, and most of them will be found playing in the rooms at PAWS Cat City in Seattle.

We also encourage you to consider adopting two kittens at once, or an adult cat with a kitten. Kittens are very active and will benefit from having a playmate to help teach them the skills that will make them a well-adjusted member of your family.
