Kids Who CareSM
Through projects and programs at PAWS, kids make a difference in animals' lives and learn what it means to be a champion for animals.
PAWS is working to nurture the empathy inherent in every child so they in turn learn to show compassion toward animals and each other. Through live and self-guided programs, students can learn about the issues facing pets and wild animals in Washington and how they can help them. Utilizing best practices in empathy development, PAWS Educators bring learning and compassion to life with inquiry-based and experiential learning.

We welcome the chance to work with your group as you complete a project that benefits the animals and the environment. Depending on your project, we may be able to visit your classroom, video chat with your group, or invite you to PAWS for a program on-site.
PAWS Academy is a virtual learning library with activities and resources for learners of all ages. Learn about some of the issues that animals face, how PAWS helps animals, and what you can do to help animals in your own community.
