Baby season volunteers needed
January 30, 2020
PAWS rehabilitates injured and orphaned wild animals and returns them to the wild where they belong. Every year, they assist with the care of over 5000 wild patients and you can be a part of this amazing process!
Wildlife volunteers assist staff every single day with lifesaving animal care for our wild patients. Volunteers help feed juvenile songbirds and mammals, prepare diets for all patients, ensure that enclosures are safe and clean, and complete many other tasks that help the animals in our care!
The Wildlife Center is in need of additional help during our busiest time of year – baby season! Can you help? Please see below for positions in need (and click links for more detailed information):
Wildlife Care Assistants and Bird Nursery Caretakers commit to coming in for a regular, weekly shift for a period of at least 4-6 months. Shifts are 4-5 hours long. We provide all necessary training to volunteers – just bring your heart and hands and we’ll provide the rest!
