Infant American Black Bears

Infant American Black Bears! We received these twins last week. Their den was accidentally disturbed and their mother ran off. The disturbance was severe enough that she abandoned her cubs, and WDFW rescued them and brought them here. The male and female siblings are estimated at 3-4 weeks old and arrived with no teeth, their eyes still closed and just over one pound each. These cubs are some of the youngest we have taken care of and fortunately they appear to be in good health. We will keep you updated as they grow!
