Northern Flying Squirrels

This orphaned Northern Flying Squirrel and his four siblings are currently being cared for at the Wildlife Center. They will be the first group to experience the compassionate work of a local Girl Scout group that designed and built a special release box for this species. Thanks to their hard work, these squirrels will have a safer and easier transition back to the wild. The new box will provide shelter and food for the squirrels while protecting them from predators. Watch for an update to show the box in action once these young squirrels are ready for release!
