Pacific Chorus Frog

November 25, 2020

This Pacific Chorus Frog is singing a sweeter tune after our animal care staff successfully treated him and released him back home. You may not have spotted the smallest frogs in Washington, but you probably have heard them in the spring. The dominant male will act as a “chorus master” by starting a call and instigating the other males nearby to join in. We released this frog back in his overwintering spot and are hopeful he will join the chorus next spring!
