Northern Flying Squirrel

The patient of the week is a northern flying squirrel found injured and wet on a road in Woodinville. She appeared to have suffered some spinal trauma, as she had an abnormal gait and hunched posture. Fortunately, after some pain management, anti-inflammatories, and two weeks in care, she made a full recovery. She was released this week back in her home forest!
