Silver-haired Bat

The patient of the week is a silver-haired bat. This species is active intermittently in the lowlands of western Washington during the winter. He was inadvertently disturbed in his roost and suffered soft tissue injuries to his left wing. His wounds healed after three weeks. We are currently waiting for a weather window for release that matches their known winter foraging conditions.
