Poulsbo Black Bear Cub

An orphan bear cub was found in Poulsbo this week. She weighed 10 pounds on intake but has demonstrated a healthy appetite since arrival. Fortunately, she did not suffer any injuries during her time alone. However, she would not have survived without her mom at this young age and will require rehabilitation efforts until next spring. Special thanks to WDFW for rescuing this cub!
