- Be comfortable documenting off-site adventures by making note of behavior and taking photos and videos to provide to the Animal Care Manager or Animal Care Lead.
Description: Volunteers can participate in several different ways:
Day Camp: an off-site event that results in the dog coming back to the shelter any time before closing (5:30 PM). Dogs can be taken swimming (we provided a life jacket for the dog) for a hike (we provide a backpack), a walk in the park, and more!
On Campus Camp: work on basic training and leash manners, ball play, trail walks (or runs!), taking photos and videos to help market them, grooming, and sitting quietly with the dog.
Sleep Away Camp: overnight stay in your home, or longer stay if a dog needs a kennel break or has kennel cough or other medical condition and needs recovery time.
