PAWS Wildlife Center in Snohomish is always in need of donated greenery to enrich our enclosures for our wildlife patients that are currently in rehabilitation.
We would love to have your landscape trimming greenery to use for animal enrichment! Using the natural greenery in their enclosures, greatly decreases the animal’s stress levels while they are convalescing at PAWS. So, if you are getting ready to trim trees/shrubs or maybe cleaning up after a storm, please think about sharing the trimmings and branches with us!
We just have a few of guidelines to follow:
- Evergreen branches are strongly preferred as they stay green longer.
- We can use branches up to 7-8 feet long.
- 6-14 inch diameter logs approximately 3-6 feet long, preferred.
- We can accept donations daily between the hours of 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., including weekends.
- Please only share pesticide-free and chemical-free trimmings.
- Stop in at the PAWS Wildlife Center for instructions on where to leave them.
If you have any questions, email or call the wildlife center at [email protected] or 425-412-4040.
